Josh Hehner, PCP, A-EMCA

As a front-line medical worker, Josh Hehner served as a Paramedic with the City of Toronto’s Emergency Medical Services, as Medical Director of a clinic in northern Peru and as team medic for UN mine clearance teams in war zones. As a medical educator, Josh has over 20 years experience teaching in diverse settings, from volunteer first aiders at protests, to village health workers in the eastern Congo, to Kurdish fighters in Northern Iraq.

Josh now works full-time in the Film and TV industry, helping produce medical content in shows such as Doc, Five Days at Memorial, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, The Boys, Gen V, Pachinko, Accused, Good Sam, The Hot Zone: Anthrax, The Handmaid’s Tale, Orphan Black, Saving Hope, Rookie Blue, Remedy and Nurses.

Jodi Bernstein, RN

Throughout her career as a Registered Nurse, Jodi Bernstein has gained experience in a variety of medical settings, including the Operating Room, Emergency Room, Family Practice, Pediatrics, and Public Health. In many of these settings she worked with nursing and medical students, and enjoys teaching and sharing knowledge learned over her extensive career.

Jodi now balances her career between the real medical world and that of the TV/Film Industry. For the past 10+ years she has enjoyed sharing her knowledge with the film industry and performing in countless productions as a special skilled extra (SSE), including acting roles. She has had countless opportunities on a variety of shows including Remedy, Saving Hope, Five Days at Memorial, Ginny and Georgia, Murdoch Mysteries, The Apprentice, Gen V, Accused, Good Sam, Nurses, The Hot Zone, Handmaids Tale, Mayor of Kingstown, The Coroner, Fellow Travelers, The Borje Salming Story.

Dr. Jeff Weissberger, MD, CCFP, FCFP

Jeff has been a family physician in Markham, Ontario for 25 years.  In addition to providing comprehensive cradle to grave care in his office, he also delivers babies, assists in the operating room, and works at a retirement home.  He has been involved in teaching medical students and residents throughout his career, and has been recognized at the university, municipal, and provincial levels for his teaching skills and clinical care.

Jeff is excited to contribute to the Film/Television world.  Past roles include the on-camera surgeon performing Donald Trump's liposuction and hair procedure in The Apprentice, and an acting role set in the Emergency Department for Devil in Disguise:  John Wayne Gacy.

When not in the office or on set, Jeff enjoys spending time travelling with his wife and three kids, hitting the ice to play hockey, and connecting with nature on canoe trips in Northern Ontario.
